The port doesn't work around your storage
Refrigerated trailer rental in Gulfport tends to follow the port. Product comes through on a schedule that has nothing to do with your cold storage, and buying permanent capacity for a peak that happens a few times a year rarely adds up. So the volume you have to hold swings week to week while the space you own stays exactly the same. Build for the peak and you pay for it all year. Build for the average and you turn work away six times a season.
Before the storm, not after
Renting the space for the weeks you actually need it costs you nothing the rest of the year. When the volume drops the trailer goes back, and you’re not running an empty box through the quiet months waiting on the next surge.
Storms are the other constant here. When one takes the power out along this coast, the freezer is the loss, and the businesses that came through the last one well are the ones that staged cold storage before it made landfall rather than after.
Do that early and the trailer is somewhere to consolidate everything worth saving while you’ve still got a live circuit to run it on. Left until the forecast is certain, it’s a call every business on the coast is making at the same time.
Between those it’s the ordinary work. Restaurants with a compressor down, grocers with a surge, and caterers working jobs bigger than their own kitchens. Same trailer, same phone call, different week.
What Shows Up
Every trailer is a 16 foot Polar King, cooler or freezer, holding anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees. It runs off a standard 115v 20amp dedicated outlet, and power cords, safety cones and door locks come with it.
Set it above freezing for a cooler, or down to zero for a freezer trailer. Same unit either way.
Daily, weekly and monthly, with a three day minimum. Delivery, setup, pickup and cleaning are priced by location.
