Refrigerated Trailer Rental in Ocean Springs, MS

Refrigerated trailer rental in Ocean Springs is usually the alternative to throwing stock out. Kitchens on Washington Avenue have no room to add cold storage, so when a cooler goes down the choice is losing what’s in it or getting it somewhere else cold. Buildings on that street were never designed around walk-ins, and there’s no back lot to expand into. So when a cooler goes down the constraint isn’t money or willingness. It’s that there’s physically nowhere left in the building to put the food.

A trailer parks where the delivery truck parks and holds the whole load at once. You’re not standing in the walk-in working out what’s worth saving, and you’re not explaining a shortened menu to a full dining room.

The first weekend of November is the one to plan around. Peter Anderson fills that downtown, and every kitchen on it runs at several times a normal Saturday. The ones who’ve done it before bring the cold space in rather than ration what they’ve got and hope.

Restaurants aren’t the only callers. Caterers working weddings along the coast stage out of a trailer because the venue rarely has cold storage worth the name, and what it does have is already full of somebody else’s flowers.

The rest of the year it’s a remodel, a failed compressor, or a walk-in that was sized for the business you had five years ago and hasn’t grown with it. Renting the difference is a smaller decision than building it.

Every trailer is a 16 foot Polar King, cooler or freezer, holding anywhere from 0 to 50 degrees. It runs off a standard 115v 20amp dedicated outlet, and power cords, safety cones and door locks come with it.

Set it above freezing for a cooler, or down to zero for a freezer trailer. Same unit either way.

Daily, weekly and monthly, with a three day minimum. Delivery, setup, pickup and cleaning are priced by location.
